Hello Hawks families and community members.
The women’s teams participating in the Athabasca College Hockey Challenge will be billeting with local families during the event. Not only is this a good experience for the athletes, it is an incredible chance for you and your children to get to spend some time with and get to know these young ladies.
We currently have a number of generous families willing to open their homes to these varsity athletes, but require a few more. Hosts will be required to transport athletes to and from team events. They will also need to provide comfortable accommodations and nutritious snacks throughout the weekend.
The U of S Huskies will require accommodation from Thursday, September 20th - Sunday, September 23rd. The U of A Pandas and the NAIT Ooks will need places to stay from Friday, September 21st - Sunday, September 23rd.
